Disney’s live-action Moana live-action remake has just dropped its second trailer, and it’s definitely building more excitement among fans
Compared to the teaser, this new trailer shows a lot more scenes, giving us a clearer look at the film’s overall tone and the characters

🎬 What stands out in the trailer
There are four main things that really stand out in this second trailer:
- The realistic VFX, especially the ocean and natural environments
- A stronger focus on Moana’s emotional journey
- The appearance of Maui, played by Dwayne Johnson
- The use of original OST elements from the animated film
Personally, what stood out the most to me was how the animated elements were translated so naturally through VFX
Even from the trailer alone, the overall quality looks very impressive, and it definitely raises expectations for the full movie
📅 Release Date
According to Walt Disney Pictures,
the film is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on July 10, 2026
For Korea, it’s currently expected to be released in July as well, though the exact date hasn’t been confirmed yet
